Printer and Copier Leasing for Schools and Education
Pre configured high volume A3 colour multifunction fleet for the front office and staffroom, with secure release, per department cost tracking, and term time service so a breakdown never stops report printing.
Before you enquire
What contract lengths can I choose from?
You choose the term at the start, anywhere from 36 to 60 months.
There is no day, week or month by month arrangement.
What happens at the end of the lease?
Three paths, and the choice is yours: upgrade to a newer device, carry on with the current one, or return it.
Nothing renews on its own and nothing starts without your written approval.
What if we outgrow the machine?
If the workload grows, the device can grow with it, once the change is quoted and agreed in writing.
Once a lease order is confirmed the replacement is delivered within 10 business days, with installation included.
Is my business too small to lease?
There is no minimum size.
The useful test is volume.
Above about 500 pages a month, one monthly set plan is normally simpler.
It covers maintenance, genuine toner and remote diagnostics, instead of buying cartridges and paying for callouts.
Can you quote if our current lease has not finished?
Yes.
We prepare the quote now and hold the installation until your current agreement ends, which avoids paying twice and avoids a print outage.
Send us the existing agreement and we will work back from its notice window.
Enquired on Monday and had a printer installed by Friday. Fast, easy, and exactly what we needed.
We have been using Global Document Solutions for about eight years now and would not go anywhere else.

Quick formFor a school or education provider in Australia, the recommended lease is a high volume A3 colour multifunction fleet at 45 to 55 pages per minute.
Specify secure print release, per department print accounting, booklet finishing for reports and newsletters, and scan to folder into your student information system.
The fleet leases from $160/month on a 36 to 60 month term.
Maintenance, toner and remote diagnostics are included for the contract term.
Searching for a photocopier? The multifunction devices leased here print, copy and scan, so a photocopier lease and a printer lease are the same agreement.
Kyocera, HP, Toshiba and Brother copiers are all covered by the same set monthly payment.

What a multi campus school or education provider is fighting right now
- ×
Reports, exams, newsletters and permission forms hit the same devices in waves, so volume spikes hard at end of term while sitting low in between.
- ×
One staffroom device is shared across faculties, with no way to see which department is driving the print budget.
- ×
Student names, results and welfare documents ride the print queue, so an unattended tray is a privacy risk.
- ×
Owned copiers tend to fail at the worst moment, during exam printing or the morning newsletters are due.
Out of warranty repairs blow the budget.

Why a multi campus school or education provider leases instead of buys
A monthly set plan fits school budget cycles better than a large capital purchase, though your business manager should confirm the treatment for your situation.
Maintenance and toner are inside the monthly fee, so office staff are not chasing consumables or repair quotes mid term.
Next business day onsite service response Australia wide for confirmed service requests means an exam week failure is back up quickly rather than stalling for days.
The fleet can scale across campuses on one agreement, with department cost tracking built in.

Quick formFrequently asked questions
What size printer or copier suits a school?
Most schools are best served by one or two A3 colour multifunction devices at 45 to 55 pages per minute for the front office and staffroom, supported by A4 mono units in faculty offices.
That handles 15,000 to 30,000 pages per month, with booklet finishing for reports and newsletters and auto duplex to keep paper use down.
Can we track printing by department or faculty?
Yes.
Per user and per department print accounting is configured at install, so the business office can see which faculties drive volume and set sensible limits.
This is one of the most effective ways for a school to bring an unpredictable print budget back under control.
How is student information protected?
Devices ship with secure print PIN release, self encrypting hard drives and automatic data overwrite between jobs, so student documents only print when staff authenticate at the device.
Scan-to-folder is set up to drop into your student information system, and at lease end the drive is securely sanitised with a record provided on request.
What happens if a copier breaks down during exams or report week?
Next business day onsite service response Australia wide (for confirmed service requests), with a remote diagnostic call usually within hours and most jams or consumable issues resolved over the phone in minutes.
For hardware failures needing longer than a day, ask about a loaner device when the fault is logged.
Availability is confirmed case by case.
