What Is the OKI Pro 1050?

Yes, you can lease the OKI Pro 1050 label press in Australia from $499 per month ex GST on a 3 to 5 year term, with toner, maintenance, and support included.

The OKI Pro 1050 is a five colour narrow web digital label press that prints CMYK plus white toner at 1200 x 1200 dpi on pressure sensitive label stocks.

The white station is the capability that sets it apart. It lets you print full colour labels on clear film, kraft, metallic, black, or compatible coloured substrates that four colour presses cannot produce.

LeasemyPrinter arranges delivery, installation, and ongoing service across Australia. Leases are available to GST registered businesses with 24 months trading, subject to credit approval.

Tired of outsourcing every label run?

A typical outsourced run can take two weeks to proof, then another week to print.

If your label needs include short runs or seasonal releases, trade printer minimum order quantities can become a constraint.

Setup fees can swallow the margin when artwork changes.

Labels you ordered ahead become waste the moment a supplier changes or regulations update.

Your brand story lives on the label, yet the label is the part of your business you have the least control over.

These operational constraints are structural features of outsourced label production.

CMYK plus white toner
on supported non white substrates.

The Pro 1050 carries five toner stations, not four.

The fifth station is white, and it prints first as a base layer under your colour artwork.

That means full colour labels on clear polypropylene, kraft, metallic silver or gold, or dark coloured stocks from the OKI approved media list.

Your skincare range can use clear film with white brand marks visible through the product.

Your craft beer seasonal can use metallic foil with vibrant artwork laid over it.

This is the capability a single pass four colour press, without a white station, cannot produce: white underprinted colour on non white substrates.

Premium Product Brands

Skincare · Candles · Perfume · Boutique Beverages

Your label is the product on shelf. White toner gives you clear film, metallic, and coloured substrate options that mass printers cannot match.

Short run and premium finish work is where the margin is. Say yes to runs under 500 that your current press cannot make pay.

OKI Pro 1050 lease cost in Australia.

Transparent pricing and inclusions for Australian businesses leasing the Pro 1050.

Monthly lease payment
From $499 per month ex GST on a 3 to 5 year operating lease.
Worked GST example
At $499/mo ex GST your monthly invoice is $548.90 including GST. Operating lease payments are generally fully deductible as a business expense, and the GST component is claimable on your BAS. Confirm treatment with your accountant.
Included in the payment
All CMYK and white toner, preventative maintenance, replacement parts, phone support, and operator induction on install day.
Not included
Label substrate media, downstream finishing equipment (digital die cutting, lamination), and network integration beyond Day 1. Listed separately at quote stage so there are no surprises.
Eligibility
Leases are available to GST registered Australian businesses with 24 months trading, subject to credit approval via our finance partners.
Lead time to install
Typically 10 to 15 business days in metro areas after signed lease documents. Regional installs scheduled around your production calendar to minimise downtime.
End of term
Upgrade to the next generation press on a new lease, extend the current lease, or return the equipment. Your account manager reviews options 90 days before end date, so nothing rolls over without your approval.
Documents we need
ABN, two years trading history, director ID, and a recent bank statement or accountant letter for larger lease values.

Where the Pro 1050 fits in your label workflow.

The Pro 1050 is a toner based digital label press, not an inkjet system. Unlike inkjet presses such as the Epson SurePress L-4533AW or HP Indigo 6K, LED toner requires no ink head maintenance and uses a different consumable model, with fewer ink-head failure modes to manage but separate considerations around drum, fuser and belt life.

Output is un die cut roll stock on pressure sensitive label (PSL) material. The press pairs with a digital die cutter such as a Graphtec or DigiFinish unit to handle die cutting, lamination, and slitting in the same facility. If you run variable data printing for batch codes, serialisation, or short run SKU variants, the press handles that natively.

The Pro 1050 is purpose built for short to medium run work that is uneconomical on a flexo or anilox press. Think GHS compliant chemical labels, AICIS ingredient lists, FSANZ food labels, BS5609 marine grade durability, and Pantone simulation for brand owners. Those entities and compliance targets live on a production toner press, not on a general office MFP.

For office document printing, pair the Pro 1050 with our managed print services or a commercial printer lease on your office floor. Read the 2025 benefits of printer leasing guide for a fuller view of how Australian businesses structure their print stack.

Regional Australian producers, including Mid North Coast NSW craft beverage breweries, distilleries and packaged food businesses, pair the Pro 1050 with on site office printers. See our printer leasing on the Mid North Coast NSW hub for local pickup and delivery, response SLA, and the Toshiba eStudio configurations we lead with for Port Macquarie, Taree, Kempsey and Forster businesses running the Pro 1050 alongside their day to day office fleet.

Frequently asked questions about the OKI Pro 1050 lease.

01

Is white toner reliably available in Australia for the OKI Pro 1050?

Yes, OKI Pro 1050 five station toner including the white station is supplied and stocked through Australian channels.

Your lease includes toner supply and replacement so you do not manage stock levels directly.

02

What is the minimum monthly label volume to justify leasing this press?

The answer depends on your current outsourced label spend, the number of SKUs you run, and how often your artwork changes.

For businesses running multiple SKUs or frequent seasonal artwork changes, in house production can shift the economics sooner than expected because each outsourced run carries setup fees.

We work through your current volume and spend at the quote stage and give you a clear view of the break even point for your business.

03

How long until the press is installed and running?

Installation is scheduled across Australia with delivery, setup, and operator induction included.

We provide an install window at quote time based on your location and current fulfilment pipeline.

04

Which label substrates does the Pro 1050 handle?

The press runs on pressure sensitive paper and synthetic film stocks including clear polypropylene, kraft, metallic silver and gold, coloured base stocks, and white paper.

The white toner station enables full colour printing on the supported non white substrates above.

05

What happens at the end of the 3 to 5 year lease term?

At term end you can upgrade to the next generation press on a new lease, extend your current lease, or return the equipment.

Your account manager discusses options 90 days before your end date so nothing rolls over without your approval.

06

Do you service regional Australia or only metro areas?

We arrange installation and ongoing service across Australia.

Response times are fastest in metro areas and we schedule regional service visits around your production calendar to minimise downtime.
