Scan to folder sends a scanned document straight to a shared network or cloud folder. Scan to email delivers it as an email attachment.
Scan to folder is a workflow function on a multifunction printer that sends a scanned document directly to a pre-configured shared folder on a business network drive, cloud storage, or document management system, without visiting a workstation to retrieve the file.
Scan to email performs the same job but delivers the scanned file as an email attachment to one or more recipients.
Both features are standard on the Toshiba eStudio range.
